Reunion Fun!

Boy, my mom knows how to do a party right! Our Agren family reunion in Midway was spectacular! Midway, in itself, is an awesome get-away, but all of my sibs and my mom's good home-cooking made everything unbelievable. The venue was impressive--the new Zermott Inn nestled in the mountains of picturesque and quaint Midway. Our days were jam packed with fun and food. We went to the Olympic Park, where we got to watch the skiers train to do cool skiing jumps. They ski down a ski jump and land in a pool. It was pretty crazy to watch. My brothers and daring sis-in-law got to try the bobsled and then there was the alpine slides and the zip lines. I got to go down the super zip with Mark. How romantic! Other adventures included a brief hike (only one kid managed to fall in the stream), the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, and yes, even scuba diving, thanks to my dive-instructor-in-training bro and my sister who let me borrow her contacts! The men headed to the lake for some jet skiing while the girls had a carousel party. Our culinary adventures included my mother's fabulous cooking--how does she do it?--legendary (legendarily fattening) Dairy Keen in Heber, and the seafood buffet at the Zermott. There was a quilt display at the Zermott that we got a chance to take in (along with some yummy gelato) and we were all inspired. A fabulous time was had by all and we were sad to leave. Hooray for families!
